Only the name will be published, the email address will not be published, nor will it be disclosed to third parties or processed by third parties. The email address will be manually deleted two years after inactivity. The comment content itself is stored indefinitely.
In addition, the visitor’s IP address and the user-agent string (which identifies the browser) are initially stored to help detect spam. The IP address will be automatically deleted after 60 days. The user agent string contains no personal information.
From your email address, WordPress can create an anonymous string (called a hash) and submit it to the Gravatar service to see if you’re using it.
