Pada Hastasana – Hand-to-Foot-Pose
The yoga online exhibition represented on this website has a story and points into the future, because it serves to explore the question, how we can create the beauty of the body. So how can we manifest a light and attractive expression in the yoga-āsana? And the project isn’t finished yet. That’s why as a viewer, you are welcome to participate with your own yoga photos. I wonder if you have any experiences on the aspect of beauty and aesthetics in yoga practice? If this is true, than you can upload your own yoga image on the image upload page. And last but not least, do not forget to leave an entry in the guestbook!
Padahastasana
Hand-to-foot-pose with active stretching in back and legs
On a deeper level, swadhisthana chakra is the seat of the individual and collective unconscious; it is the deposit of all samskara, mental impressions of the past stored in the form of archetypes. It is the center of the most primitive and most deeply rooted instincts of mankind. By purifying this center, animal nature is transcended. For concentration on this center you visualize a vast, deep ocean with dark waves under a night sky. The tides of the ocean represent the flow and reflux of awareness.
